Kim Parnell

Executive Director

Kim will be responsible for the community’s daily operations. She brings senior living expertise spanning more than 20 years to the job, in addition to skills honed working as a nurse. “As a resident of the area for over 30 years, I’ve found that, despite the incredible retail and residential growth happening, we’re still able to enjoy that close-knit, neighborhood feel. It’s something that will definitely be part of The Delaney at Parkway Lakes’ culture.”

Michelle Angelina Barroso

Director of Sales and Marketing

Michelle is the Director of Sales and Marketing that works with seniors and professionals in the senior healthcare realm to bring awareness of the many benefits of senior living that The Delaney at Parkway Lakes offers. Michelle holds her certificate as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has been officially working with seniors since 2012. Unofficially, she has served seniors for 30 years when, as a young girl, her grandfather was diagnosed with dementia and the help of the entire family was required. She knew then that she would dedicate her life to helping people.

J'Mal Stewart

Life Enrichment Director

J’Mal is a native of New Orleans, La. and a huge Saints fan. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and has worked as an Activity Director in Long Term Care for the past 20 years. J’Mal enjoys cooking, rooting for his favorite sports teams, volunteering out in the community and boiling seafood. He brings a wealth of knowledge in recreation and a great sense of humor to The Delaney team. As the Life Enrichment Director, he will head up a team of trained professionals that will bring life and substance to our residents and staff.

Debbie Hamilton

Director of Community Relations

A well-traveled native Houstonian who grew up in Northwest Houston, has lived in other parts of the US, and now resides in Bridlewood Estates in the Fort Bend area.
Debbie began her career as a successful, top selling Realtor in 1998 by first working for and learning from a high powered real estate professional in the Katy area while she pursued and earned her Real Estate license. From there Debbie went on to also earn a Mortgage Broker's license in 2000, and by 2002, she owned her own a Re/Max Real-Estate firm!
Further in her career, Debbie expanded her wealth of experience by working in the senior living industry as a Director of Sales & Marketing and holds a Senior Real Estate Specialist designation to compliment her experience.
Blessed with the ability to put people at ease, Debbie is very approachable and eager to please. A good listener and full of compassion for seniors, she thoroughly enjoys the challenge of helping seniors and their loved ones find that perfect transition to new beginnings and forever memories. In fact, her personal goal is to exceed the expectations of those seeking to be understood.
Debbie is happily married to her wonderful husband, Ed, and the proud mother of a Texas A & M Aggie and a recently published photographer at North Texas State University. Thanks to an adventurous spirit, she is most happy zip-lining, riding off road vehicles, going camping in the family's RV. She has a passion for aviation and enjoys flying while husband pilots their private plane, while the families Blue Heeler, “Merlot” rides as the co-pilot. Her latest interests and ambitions are ballroom dancing and becoming a Sommelier.

Angelica is an extensive experienced Registered Nurse of 20 years with a vast background from critical care in surgical and medical to recovery room to many specialties serving all age groups. She has a passion for providing exceptional high-quality nursing care and compassionate for humanity. The Houston Chronicle chose her as one of the Top 100 Nurses of 2014 due to her efficient through patient care that provided to best level of care and her strength physical and mental to withstand nursing demands. While caring for acute and long-term illness and diseases, she gives patients respect, dignity, and the individual care they deserve.

Director of Culinary Services

As a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America at their Hyde Park campus, Will was able to hone his skills in culinary arts. Cooking has always been part of his life from family dinners as a child to cooking amazing meals with friends. Before making the move to Houston, Will worked for upscale restaurants in New York and Vail, CO. Will oversees the dining department, which includes front and back of house operations. The relationships that he builds with residents, guests, and staff are what Will enjoys most.

Business Office Manager

Jamie started working with seniors as an Activity Director in a senior living community. Eventually Jamie knew that she would like to work in the Human Resources and Accounting. She took on the role as the Business Office Manager where her focus is on making sure she is available to the Residents and Employees. Jamie received her completion certificate as an Assisted Living Manager. She will strive to make sure all Residents and Employees are happy at The Delaney at Parkway Lakes, as it brings her joy.
